What a great piece of memorabilia this doll is he is 17" and dressed in his original red white and blue Liberty costume. His arms legs and head are composition and he has a cloth stuffed body. He has a molded painted head and painted blue eyes. Great condition for his age. He is unmarked circa 1920. Made to commemorate the war. Also called Uncle Sam Unmarked but still a great doll. |

14" Composition unmarked boy is just adorabel with painted blue eyes and cloth body with compositon limbs. The molded hair is deffinately a boy which is harder to find then gilr dolls. He is wearing a beige suit with brown stripes that is vintage and looks great on him. On his feet are brown leather boots. He is really cute. Maker unknown. |
Dora Petzoldt German Rare Molded 17" Composition Child

This a is rare and lovely original Dora Petzoldt child made with a molded composition character head, with very detailed painted eyes. There are craze lines on the surface of the composition which is common with these dolls. She has a blonde mohair wig with stockinette body and original clothes. These dolls were some of the earliest German composition dolls made by an individual artist and this child like early art doll is truly an unusual find. These will end up going like the Munich Art Dolls they have such character to their faces and are some of the rarest in the composition marketplace of dolls. |

She has her hard to find leatherette shoes that even have the pom poms and socks. She also has her orig. metal Effanbee heart tag on her wrist. SOLD Look at this all original 19" Patsy Ann doll by the Effanbee Doll Company. Marked on the back Effanbee Patsy Ann. This adorable Patsy family member wears her TAGGED (Yes Tagged dress) in the back is the Effanbee tag sewn into the original cotton checked dress. She is a roller skater with the original socks and roller skates. Made in late 1930 early 1940 's this is one of the most desirable Patsy dolls. The tagged dress makes it even more collectible since finding dolls with tagged dresses is unusual. She has a full composition body in very good condition with clear feaures and sleep green eyes. The composition is in very good with minimal crazing and some minor paint chips which is very common on dolls from this era. If you love composition dolls then you have to know that finding them perfectly mint is a real rarity. This doll is in excellent condition and completely original

Emma Clear George & Martha Washington Magnificent Costuming

SOLD. None will ever be availabel again with this costuming. The costuming is so superbly crafted with marvelous antique fabrics and lace. Emma Clear one of the American Artists from Californiaworked in the 1940-50 era and specialized in creating character and portrait dolls and replica china and parian dolls. They both have inset glass eyes and molded hair dos and Martha has a molded bonnet. The shoulderheads are marked with the Clear name. The bodies are hard stuffed cloth and the detail of the hands and fingers is so superior to any other Clear dolls I have ever seen that was done by Emma Clear. Photos do not do this superior doll pair the proper justice. The Costumes and the eye appeal of George and Martha is breath taking.Some lace on the clothing is weak since this set is some 50+ years old. SOLD AS A PAIR ONLY

Yeah you can pinch yourself now..... This group of 10 Nancy Ann Muffie dolls is great all MIB NRFB. These hard plastic MIB dolls Muffie dolls are the International series all with gold wrist tags and mint in the boxes. Some have the original cellophane. Spain is a bit camera shy she has turned her head in the box but otherwise she is mint. The list of the countries are Poland,Spain, Italy, Peru, Egypt, Isreal, Ireland, Russia, India, and Finland. All the boxes are in excellent condition with an Nancy Ann gold label on the outside of the box telling the country. Each doll is just perfectly pristine in outfit with those adorable Muffy face. I cannot give much more info since most of the dolls are in the original cellophane covered box and I cannot open the boxes. If you want this mint collectors dream dolls do not miss out. store. UFDC Chinese Lady Doll in Ethnic Costume

Look at this beautiful 14" porcelain Chinese lady doll. She has an alll original authentic costume and she is from the 1992 San Francisco UFDC national convention. She has porcelain arms and head and on her porcelain feet are exquisite molded shoes with a cloth body. Her face is beautifully painted with unique ethnic details of a lovely asian lady. She has a cloth posable body. This silk kimono is historically detailed and designed just as a traditional Japanese lady would be dressed.doll. Another unique feature of the kimono is that there are tiny little silk embroidered fasteners along the right side of the Kimono. This is a fabulous detail and this opens the kimono when the tiny fasteners are slid open carefully. The doll has nice deep molding with her hair designed in a traditional asian hair style pulled to the top of her head. with tiny brush strokes on the temples. This is a really unique feature of this doll. Made by the United States Historical Society in Richmond Virginia there were approx. 1500 of these dolls made for the UFDC conference souvenir. She is MIB with her original tea cup wrist tag. She is a beautiful artist type doll in ethnic Japanese styling and detail. Very unique for a UFDC souvenir since most of the time they have children or lady dolls not ethnic ladies. |
